Inspired by intrinsic quality and value, Mark believes that a garment is defined by its finish and that the inside is as important as the outside. From a young age, this obsession with finishing steered Mark beyond simply accepting what was the best – to understand the very origins of what made it the best.
Turning this passion into a career, Mark graduated from the esteemed Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City, earning a degree in Menswear Design & Tailoring. He continued his studies in Rome, Italy where he worked with the most iconic fashion houses. Mark contributed to Giorgio Armani, Valentino, Gucci Group’s Yves Saint Laurent, and Calvin Klein. He simultaneously earned a degree in International Trade and Fashion Marketing at the American University in Rome.
In 2010, he created the Mark Pomerantz brand. With singular focus, Mark has grown a luxury goods house that produces rare and ephemeral items that share a provenance with being the best. His integrity sewn into every detail, there is no limit to the creativity and quality of a Mark Pomerantz design.
